my work involves composition, interdisciplinary projects, free improvisation, and piano lessons. I am particularly drawn to somatic nature work, which invites us to immerse ourselves in our natural environment with an open mind.

the IMPROFUGIUM is a refuge for improvisation—for experimentation, for spontaneous action, for the exchange of sound languages, for attentive exploration, for the expression of one’s own ideas, and for the sharing of thoughts and topics that concern us. this space offers the opportunity to play, observe, listen, think, act, and reflect. improvisation takes place either as a group or in smaller ensembles. free improvisation, with all its range of meanings, is at the center, and all interested people are welcome.

my piano lessons are shaped by an approach that combines creativity, body awareness, and technique. during my studies with gisela jöbstl at the mdw vienna, i learned how to practice effectively and joyfully. her experience with the feldenkrais method was often integrated into the lessons, allowing me to experience the instrument in a new and relaxed way. after further trainings with maria busqué, who calls herself a “flow whisperer,” i became aware of how our nervous system influences playing, and how essential it is to cultivate and feel a balanced, embodied state. my piano lessons focus on improvisation, playfulness and exploring one’s own creativity.
