WEAVERS

drawing on traditional craft techniques and collective labor, WEAVERS brings together body, rhythm, and voice in a dance and live sound performance. through repetitive actions and vocal sounds, performers create structures of safety and care that support togetherness without dissolving individuality.

through the UPPTAKTURINN project, children and teenagers between the ages of 10 and 14 have the opportunity to compose music and arrange it for professional musicians. during this creative process, they are supported by students from the iceland university of the arts.

the “yoga.natur.zeit” retreat is an invitation to nourish your own vibrant BEING. the retreat creates space for connection with your self and the natural world around you.


sound walk for seashores

sound walk for seashores is a performance by the LEAF project: learning through ecological art forms. this queer, site-specific performance explores both the multifaceted relationships we have with our environment and the responsibility we bear toward nature. the performance is the result of several workshop phases led by members of the collective improv for dance enthusiasts.

gruppen.kunst.bewegt focuses on perceiving lines in space and how we, as bodies, relate to them. starting with individual gestural statements, the participants work together to develop choreographic sketches that form the basis for a performance.
